The Kreider Farms Cultural Center stands as a testament to the power of community partnership and shared vision. This 18,000 square foot hub of connection and learning exists today because of a transformational leadership gift from Kreider Farms, a fourth-generation family-owned and operated egg and dairy producer deeply committed to Manheim’s growth and well-being.

A Vision Worth Supporting
In 2024, when Kreider Farms learned about the cultural center plans, the relocation of the Manheim Community Library, and the broader vision of the Hoffer Farm initiative, they knew they wanted to be part of it.
“Pleasant View has been one of our neighbors all my life,” said Ron Kreider, chairman of Kreider Farms. “Once we heard about the cultural center, the relocation of the Manheim Community Library, and the vision of the Hoffer Farm initiative, we decided to get involved in a larger way.”
The decision was further strengthened by the shared vision of Pleasant View CEO Jonathan Hollinger and capital campaign co-chairs, Dr. Lew Jury (former Manheim Central Superintendent) and Mike Williams (retired Manheim Central Football Coach).
“The cultural center and Hoffer Farm will be beneficial for everyone in the Manheim area, including our employees,” Mr. Kreider said.

Leading By Example
But Kreider Farms’ involvement goes beyond simply supporting a worthy cause—it represents a deliberate choice to step forward as community leaders.
“Kreider Farms has always been involved in giving back to our community; it’s just been mostly anonymously,” Mr. Kreider said.
The decision by Kreider Farms to participate publicly in the Hoffer Farm project wasn’t about seeking recognition; it was about leading by example and encouraging other businesses and individuals to get involved in community building.
This public commitment reflects a deeper understanding that community flourishes when neighbors support neighbors, when businesses invest in the places where their employees live and work, and when shared dreams become shared realities.
The Heart of Community Connection
The Kreider Farms Cultural Center serves as the beating heart of Hoffer Farm, housing:

-
Meeting & Conference Facilities
Professional-grade spaces support everything from nonprofit board meetings to corporate retreats, strengthening the business and organizational fabric of the community.

A Legacy of Impact
Jonathan Hollinger of Pleasant View said the partnership with Kreider Farms holds a special significance.
“We are extremely grateful to Kreider Farms for its financial commitment and transformative step in enriching the lives of residents in the Manheim area,” Mr. Hollinger said.
“The Kreider Farms Cultural Center is more than just a building. It’s a hub of cultural exchange and learning which fosters community and belonging.”

Building Tomorrow Together
The Kreider Farms Cultural Center represents what’s possible when community vision meets generous partnership.
It stands as proof that when neighbors invest in neighbors, when businesses commit to the communities that sustain them, and when shared dreams receive dedicated support, extraordinary things happen.
Every day, as community members gather in these spaces—children discovering new worlds through library programs, families celebrating milestones, organizations planning for the future—the center fulfills its promise as a place where generosity builds community and community, in turn, builds the future.
